A 6 Days Uganda Safari taking you to three different national parks in Uganda; Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth NP for game viewing and Bwindi Forest for gorilla trekking.
This 6 days primates tour that start and end in Entebbe will start with the travel to Kibale National Park, the primates world with thirteen different primates species and the best place to track chimpanzees in their natural home. You then connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park which was named after the Queen of England Elizabeth II. This is the most visited safari parks in Uganda with the highest concentration of hippos which is seen during the boat safari on the Kazinga channel, the rare tree climbing lions found in Ishasha sector, the crater lakes including Katwe salt Lake, primates including Chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge among others. A game drive and boat cruise in this park will therefore offer you opportunity to experience a variety of wildlife. The safari with end with gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park, a UNESCO world heritage site named in 1994 due to its ecological importance. This is a home to half of the remaining world’s endangered mountain gorillas.
Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park and Boat cruise.
Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
Day 5: Gorilla tracking and transfer to lake Bunyonyi.
Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe and departure.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National park.
Your tour guide/driver shall meet you at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or from the airport in case you arrive before midday and give you briefing about the expectations of the entire tour. You will then set off a six hour journey to Kibale National park, home to the chimpanzees and twelve other different monkey species. The journey shall go through Mityana-Mubende road reaching Kibale in the afternoon. Time allowing, you will go for nature walk to the crater lakes in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge/Turaco Treetops/Guereza Lodge(mid range)/ Primates Lodge/ Chimpundu Lodge(Luxury) or Similar.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Nature walk.
Get ready by 6:30am for your breakfast before reporting at the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while on chimpanzee tracking. You will enter the forest at 8:30am for chimpanzee tracking where you will locate them by their calls with the help of the ranger guides. Once you encounter them, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour to stay in presence of the chimpanzees, taking photography and enjoying them as they play and feed. You will embark to the lodge for your lunch and then in the afternoon, go for nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will encounter different monkey species as well as birds. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge/Turaco Treetops/Guereza Lodge(mid range)/ Primates Lodge/ Chimpundu Lodge(Luxury) or Similar.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat cruise.
In the morning after breakfast, you will set off a three hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National park passing through Kasese with a view of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. You will reach Queen Elizabeth National park early for lunch before embarking on a 3 hour boat safari on the Kazinga channel. This will reward you with view of game as hippos, crocodiles, bird species as well as elephants and other animals which come along the channel banks in search of water. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge/ Elephant Plains Lodge/ Katara Lodge(Luxury)/ Buffalo safari Lodge/Enganzi Lodge/Elephant hab lodge(mid range)
Day 4: Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National park.
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for game drive along Kasenyi sector in search of lions, leopard, elephants, buffalos among others. You will then set of to Bwindi National passing through Ishasha sector where you will have game drive in search of tree climbing lions. You will reach Bwindi in the evening for for dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge/Gorilla Mist camp(deluxe)/Kiho Gorilla safari Lodge(Luxury).
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This morning you will have to wake up very early to get ready for Gorilla tracking. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are always park guides with you who interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the evening, you may go for a cultural walk to the Batwa community. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Rock resort(deluxe)/ Birdnest@Bunyonyi resort(Luxury)
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will set off back to Entebbe/Kampala with enroute stopover at the equator for photography and experimentation as well as lunch. You will also stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers as you approach Kampala, reaching early in the evening and transfer to the airport for your departure flight if on schedule.
